Letter of recommendation

Brevan asked Ryan to write him a letter of recommendation for a "job position" for which he is applying. He would like to be the CPA of a hypothetical business in his school class. This is the letter Ryan wrote tonight:

To Whom it may concern,

I have been notified that your company is interested in filling an important position for a Firm Manager with CPA skills and certification. I would highly recommend Brevan Ellefsen for this position. I have known Brevan for 11 years, and can attest to his integrity and work ethic. He is highly motivated and driven to succeed. He has been a vital part of our organization, and would greatly benefit any company that was lucky enough to employ him.

Brevan is great with numbers, and has been known to use a calculator. In the past, he has done a great job of collecting funds and distributing monies to his brother and sisters when the ice cream man is in the neighborhood. He has maintained a piggy bank with numerous types of money for many years now, and considers himself an expert on almost anything . . .just ask him.

Brevan has a deep knowledge of payables and receivables, although he is mostly interested in receivables. He is a certified goof ball, and there is no accounting for his behavior in public. These skills make him perfect for the position of Certified Public Accountant.

Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or concerns. Thank you.

It's good for Ryan to keep up on his letter writing skills too. :)
