While I listen to the Superbowl going on in the other room, I'll go ahead and work on my LIST. By the way, I survived my first weekend as the Primary President. I gave the official "welcome to Primary" talk at a baptism yesterday and stayed busy, busy, busy during church today.
51. My new love is the chips and guacamole at Chipotle. I've gone there 3 times this week because I'm craving it so badly!
52. The other thing that I love at Chipotle is the fountain Fanta. I rarely drink soda, but love orange soda, especially Fanta. All bubbly and delicious. It's a good thing it's Sunday or I'd be there right now.
53. I have always wanted to watch someone else give birth. I think it would be absolutely fascinating.
54. I loved the 2-day hospital stays after each of my babies were born. Just the smell of a hospital reminds me of those precious days. They were honestly some of the best days of my whole life. I remember after Logan was born and I had him all dressed and ready to go home on the last day of our stay. I sat and rocked him while I stared out the window and cried. I couldn't believe that I wouldn't experience any more of those moments with my brand-new babies. I have never experienced such pure joy.
55. I have horrible allergies. I'm pretty sure I'm allergic to everything that grows outside. Along with eggs, dogs, cats, horses and some molds. I take allergy meds all year and get allergy shots every Wednesday.
56. I'm horrible at geography, but getting much better. When Ryan and I got married he liked to entertain himself by asking me which continent has which countries. I would fail horribly every time.
57. I don't like animals. I always feel guilty admitting that because I sound so cruel, but animals up close just really gross me out. I would never want an animal to be harmed, but I just don't want them to be around me.
58. I LOVE chocolate chip cookie dough, but don't really like the cookies once they're baked. I could eat a whole bowl of dough, and I've never gotten sick from the eggs. I think I might need to pause on this list while I go make some cookie dough right now.
59. Once time I had such a loose tooth that it fell out while I was drinking fruit punch.
60. I used to listen to country music, but can't handle the twang anymore. But the occasional country balad is amazing, because those cowboys know how to write some good lyrics.
61. I love rainstorms. The louder the thunder, the better. I even like when severe weather hits our area and there are tornados around. I know it's weird, but I get excited and go outside to watch the sky (after forcing my kids into the tornado-safe storage room).
62. I still get butterflies in my stomach every time Ryan holds my hand.
63. There is nothing worse in life than throwing up. Having the flu seems like a death sentence to me.
64. I love to play games and read books to my kids, but I really don't like imaginary play. I must not have a good imagination because Barbies and "playing house" are torture.
65. I love being tall. I hated it while growing up when I was taller than all the guys, but now I like to wear shoes with heals that make me even taller.
66. I would love to design a custom house for us someday. I collect house plans and pull them out a couple times a year just so I can stare at the layout of my dream house. Master bedroom, great room, family room, office, large kitchen with wrap-around bar on the main floor. Four bedrooms upstairs, with a lookout to the main floor. Media room, large storage room and guest bedroom in basement. On 2 acres, lined with trees.
67. I love boating and jet-skiing. I realize this contradicts my hatred of cold water, but for some reason I love lake water much more than pool water.
68. I like doing laundry, don't mind doing the dishes, but despise cleaning bathrooms.
69. I love to read, but it usually takes me a long time to finish a book because I can't sit still for very long.
70. I love the colors baby blue and brown. There's a college in North Carolina that has baby blue uniforms, so I've dubbed them my favorite team just because the guys look so good in their uniforms while they're playing basketball.
71. I used to be very passive-agressive and was terrified of confrontations. I've gotten much better over the years.
72. I don't pay my bills online and prefer to send them snail mail.
73. I'm not a packrat at all. I love to throw stuff away, much to the disappointment of my kids. If they don't play with a toy for a few months then I give it away. I also go through my clothes every few months and get rid of anything I'm not wearing.
74. I take a nap every Sunday after church.
75. I collected porcelain dolls growing up. I'd like to display them somewhere now, but don't know how or where. I think I have 15 of them.
76. I love to have people come over to my house, but it stresses me out if there are too many people. Then I feel like I have to make sure everyone is happy and feeling included.
77. Before we had kids I loved a good road trip. Now I can't stand them. We fly everywhere because Ryan can't stand to deal with my whining the whole way.
78. I like my handwriting.
79. I love to chew on sunflower seeds, but it grosses out Ryan so I don't do it very often.
80. I think video games are the biggest waste of time.
81. I have never watched a soap opera.
82. I'm not sure who is the worse dancer - Ryan or me. But the combination of us together is the worst sight you've ever seen. However, I do have to give Ryan credit for doing an awesome running man.
83. I'm not into spending lots of money on things like handbags and shoes. When I do buy shoes, I wear them for years until they just completely wear out. And all I carry around is a wallet and diaper bag.
84. I hate public speaking. I turn bright red and nervous. I bore my testimony today and when I sat down, Lindsey turned to me and said, "Mommy, you did a . . .good job . . .but your neck got all red."
85. I drink a cup of hot chocolate every morning, usually while eating a bagel.
86. I really like my lips and I'm trying to wear lip gloss more often to accentuate them.
87. I don't like summer or winter very much. I think the perfect temperature is between 65 and 70 degrees.
88. If I could go back in time I would change so many things about my wedding day. The dress I wore (what was I thinking having a huge bow on my butt? Was I just trying to make my butt look bigger?), the reception (I'd have a simple BBQ instead, while we all wore jeans and played music we actually liked), my ring (I don't hate it, but wish I had white gold instead) and I won't even go into what I would change about the honeymoon. :)
89. I have never sent or received a text message. I have a very simple cell phone that I lost months ago and still haven't replaced. I'm so far behind in technology.
90. There's nothing more romantic than sitting around a campfire roasting marshmallows and shoving them in each other's mouths.
91. My ears don't match. I have one of my Mom's ears (nicely rounded on top) and one of my Dad's ears (flat and messed up on top).
92. I bungee jumped the night of my junior prom. I was so terrified that I've actually blocked the event out of my mind and I don't remember anything about it anymore. I hate heigths.
93. I'm scared of rollercoasters (geez, I'm sounding like a real loser after writing all this down). I don't understand how people enjoy that sinking, scared feeling.
94. Ryan and I both hate scary movies.
95. Some day I'll have to explain these better, but 3 blessings we've received that could only come from a higher source are: Ryan getting the carpet business job the day he was "layed off" from Jones Paint, purchasing our blue Lehi house at the auction and Ryan getting the job out here in Missouri.
96. I love to chew Bubblicious bubble gum, but my dentist is not happy about it so it's a rare occasion now.
97. I lived on a farm in the state of Washington until I was 9. We had cows, numerous cats and a dog. I have many fond memories of that time. Playing spy with my brother, exploring the nearby barns and fields, sharing a bedroom with my sisters for a while, etc. Then we moved to Salt Lake and lived with my Grandma and Grandpa Springer.
98. I have a firm testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that we are blessed to have a prophet on the earth today, and I love each of the modern day prophets. I love the temple and the blessings and comfort I receive from being in the Lord's house. I also know that I have a Father in Heaven who knows me well, and I used to walk and talk with him as he taught me. I know he cares for me and worries about me when I struggle. There's nothing I want more than to spend eternity living in His presence, with my family and friends.
99. When I was 10 we moved to our brown house on Savannah Drive in Sandy, Utah. I can barely think of this house without getting emotional, because this house was "home" for me for many years. I still dream of that house all the time. There were so many good and bad moments there. I could write a whole list of my memories from that house.
100. I am so unworthy of all my blessings. To live in a safe country, have the gospel in my life, have a supportive husband who honors his priesthood and makes a good living, have the opportunity to raise the cutest, smartest and most obedient kids in the world, have the best family and friends anyone could ever hope for, and the list could go on and on.

We are more alike than I thought! I love orange soda, don't like animals, hate imaginary play with my kids, dream of a custom house (I actually toured one that came pretty close), think video games are lame, drink hot chocolate like it's going out of style (have you ever heard of a Cocoa-Latte machine? So awesome!), wish I could have a do-over on my wedding (the reception, at least), and have you seen me and Brian dance? We could give you and Ryan a run for your money. We are AWFUL. We were at a stake dance once with Brian's parents, and we were so embarrassed because they were much better dancers than us. We stood around the refreshment table for much of the dance.
So glad you are a Tar Heel fan.
I also love Chipotle and could eat there a few times a week.
One day we will both have our dream homes.
i feel the same way when I think about my old house on La Casa! So many great memories of growing up, and memories of my dad when he was still active in the church. I have lots of good memories of your old house too, like sneak sleep overs, ditching school, making cookies and making out with boys.....those were the days!
I am with you on so many thing! It make me laugh. Thanks so much for thinking about us with all illness drama we have been dealing with. You guys are such great friends, and we just love you. I can't wait to someday come and visit you all! Congrats on the calling. They honestly, couldn't have picked anyone better!!
