I'm alive!

I started feeling sick on Saturday night, and wondered if my stomach was not a fan of the sushi I'd had for dinner. I went to church on Sunday, even though I still felt yucky, because I had so much to do as the new Primary President. I started to feel sicker by Sunday evening. And now here it is Thursday and the past few days are just a blur of pain. I finally went in to the doctor yesterday, because I hurt so badly everywhere and couldn't stop throwing up for days. I was diagnosed with strep throat and influenza. I've spent the last hour walking around the house, wondering where to even start on the mess my kids have created while I've been so sick and Ryan's been on a business trip. But today I finally feel human again. Thank heaven for penicilin shots and anti-nausea medication! I am so grateful for my friends that kept my kids fed the past few days. I don't think I've ever been so grateful for my health!

So sorry that you've been so sick. There is honestly nothing worse than being so sick that you can't function because it is such a worry what to do with your kids. I've never had influenza but have had strep and it is the worst. I'm glad you are feeling better.
