Christmas fun with Grandparents

These pictures are from December, but it's taken me this long to upload them. All these pictures were taken while my parents were in town for the week of Christmas. My Mom was sick the second half of the week, but we were still able to cram in a bunch of fun during the beginning of the week! I uploaded the pictures in the smallest format, so it wouldn't take so long to flip through them.

One night while Ryan and I were on a date, my parents helped the kids decorate a gingerbread house.
My parents took both the girls to see The Nutcracker Ballet in Liberty. Lindsey was bored after a few minutes, but Brynlie loved the whole production and has been talking about it ever since. She says she wants to be in the Nutcracker someday. The girls had so much fun having a "date" with my parents. Brevan also got a special "date" to go bowling, but no pictures were taken.
One day we went to the T-Rex Restaurant. The kids loved the realistic dinosaurs and bugs that moved. There is also a "meteor shower" every half hour which was a lot of fun!
The weekend before Christmas, we took my parents to The Great Wolf Lodge in Kansas. This is our second year going the week of Christmas. The atmosphere is perfect for bringing in the Christmas feeling! The indoor waterpark is huge and even those of us who don't particularly like water had a BLAST!

Santa visited the first day we were there. Brynlie informed me that it was the REAL Santa, unlike the one at the church party, because Santa's beard was real and he had the real glasses.

After a day of fun, the kids got in their pajamas to listen to Santa read them a bedtime story. Then it started snowing inside the lodge (real frozen water!) so the kids tried to catch it in their hands.
More water fun . . .

There's an interactive game throughout the whole lodge called "MagiQuest." Brevan saved up his money to buy this magic wand so he could get the clues and play the game.
Logan had NO fear of the water! This kid cracks us up! He would run up the stairs to the top of the waterslide, and then go down ALL BY HIMSELF. Everyone around us was amazed at how independent he was!

This is my favorite picture. They all look so sweet, enjoying time with their Grandma!
Relaxing in the lodge.

Time together with family is PRICELESS!!
