I'm immature
Saturday was kind of a bad day. I was stressed and the kids, of course, were caught in the middle. So I decided to take the girls out for some "fun" in the afternoon, to make it up to them. We tried to get ice cream, but the shop here in town was closed down (Does no one else want ice cream when it's freezing outside?). So we went to the local grocery store instead. I gave the girls a $15 limit and told them that they were in charge. They immediately made me climb inside the cart so they could be the "mom" and push me around. Then they proceded to throw all kinds of junk food on top of me. We only crashed into a few endcaps, so I thought all was good. We got some funny stares, but I couldn't care less what the other people thought of me. Then the store manager came up and told me I had to get out of the cart because I was being irresponsible. "We have to get those carts repaired all the time, and I'm SURE your weight is not good for it!" So out I went, but at least the fun lasted for a while. The girls thought it was absolutely hilarious that their mom was acting like a kid, and it felt good to not be responsible for a few minutes. Every once in a while we should all be immature.

Ali, you are my hero! That sounds like so much fun. Boo hoo on the manager for being so stinky about it. It's not like you're fat! My kids would get a kick out of their mom being so cool.
You are a way better mom than I am! How fun for your girls!
I couldn't get my large back side into a cart if I wanted to. Good work!
Now you have to tell me which store you went to...I'm gonna do it! HAHAHA! okaymaybenot.
