My Dad loves to be busy. He also happens to be very handy, so anytime he visits me or my siblings we put him to work! My sisters and I have awesome husbands who do so much, but . . .um . . .household projects is just not their thing. So both Ryan and I are excited when my Dad comes to town and willingly does my "honey-do list." These are some of the projects he worked on last week while they were in town.

Cute hardware for all the cabinets and drawers in my kitchen. I found these at Lowes for 50% off, and they look great!

Hooks for the kids to hang their coats and backpacks. For some annoying reason, the builder of our house didn't put a coat closet on the main level. That just doesn't work for a family of 6!

My Dad took down the ugly blinds in my dining room and put up these cute curtains, curtain rods and hold-backs.
The nasty blinds in my kitchen and family room are where they belong at the dump, and in their place are some nice, wood ones.

Ahhhh, so many things crossed off my list, and I didn't have to nag my husband to do any of them! That's a great Christmas present.

Wow!! It is amazing how much the little accents add to a home. I loved it all and can't wait to see it in person!
You couldn't have asked for a better present. I hate having a list of projects that need to be done. If only I had someone to come and do mine.....
