Our favorite little sports star, Lindsey, had a fun, difficult, disappointing and great soccer season. She moved up a level this time and became frustrated that the game was suddenly so much harder to play! She didn't have a very knowledgeable coach this time, so it was a rough season for most the girls on her team. This kid has HEART though, and she LOVES playing sports. You put her on any field or court and she shines. I think this season was a good learning opportunity for her, because she was getting a little too used to having sports come easily for her. She worked her little rear-end off, but never did get a goal in any of the games. We found out at the end of the season that many of the other teams had been cheating by letting much older girls (9-year-olds in 3rd grade) play on their team. No wonder this cute "Snow Angels" team didn't have the most stellar season. But we are so proud of our little soccer star, who will start basketball in January.
