On Thursday the 25th of June, Brenda and I saw the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform in Kansas City while they were on tour. I was excited to go, because it's a rare opportunity for people here to see them, but I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed the concert! I kept whispering to Brenda that my kids would enjoy General Conference much more if it was anything like the fun performance the choir put on that night! There were times I felt like I was at a Southern Baptist church, complete with a black man belting out a solo and the rest of the choir clapping! It was amazing! Speaking of concerts, I have to mention how INCREDIBLY EXCITED I am to attend the Miley Cyrus concert with Brevan and Brynlie in October at the Sprint Center! Call me crazy, but I think I'm looking forward to it even more than the kids!
