Our fabulous girl cruise

It's taken me a while to get these pictures posted, partly because I haven't had time, partly because I've been in mourning that this trip is over and partly because my kids have all been very sick this week. But here they are . . .*sigh*. . .I just want to go back!
Me and my sisters had the best time ever. We all flew to San Diego and met up, even though our flights got in at different times. We boarded the ship and started eating . . .and never stopped for the next 4 days. I have to say that the BEST thing about a cruise is the food! Whatever, whenever we wanted it! We all came home with a few extra pounds around our middles. But it was worth it!
We tried to take quite a few pictures, and these are some that turned out the best. There are some other funny photos, but now that we're home we realize that we just look stupid in the pictures, instead of funny! It's amazing how silly and giggly we all got that week! It was such a fun release and escape from our usual lives!

The restaurant where we ate breakfast and lunch was called Tiffany's . . .named after my favorite oldest sister! =)

One of the nights was "Elegant Night" at dinner. We had a great time getting dressed up and primping. If I do say so myself, we looked pretty dang HOT this night (or at least we FELT pretty smokin' hot!)

One of the things I bought while in Mexico was a slingshot for Brevan. When I got back on the cruise ship, this guy confiscated it because I wasn't allowed to have weapons on board. They returned it to me the night before the last day on the ship. I guess they didn't care if I killed someone with it at the end of the cruise! =) I bought a few other souvenirs while there because Brynlie happens to be doing a huge project about Mexico right now.
Pictures taken in Mexico . . .

In front of the huge cruise ship . . .

I have always thought latin kids are the cutest thing in the world. If I ever decide to start kidnapping kids, I think I'll start with a darling little latin girl like this one! This little girl (and many others, unfortunately) were taught to beg for money on the street. We couldn't resist filling her cup with money. It broke our hearts to see some of the poverty in Mexico.

Every day we had a new "towel buddy" in our room, waiting for us after the maid service stopped by. This day it was a monkey hanging from our light. How adorable is that?!
Tiffany and I saw this couple heading to a party one night. They were obviously dressed up with an 80's theme, and they looked so cool that I had to take their picture!
We had a lot of fun being immature and playing on the elevator. Many silly pictures were taken . . .

We also had a fun time practicing our most seductive look. Don't ask me why. It seemed very funny at the time. I'm going to admit that I even peed my pants at one point because I was laughing so hard! By the way, Tiffany has the best seductive look HANDS DOWN, but this is Kara's best attempt.
Tiff and Kara giggling . . .I think this is one of my favorite pictures because it shows how much fun we had!
Hangin' out poolside. Looking ever so gorgeous in our new swimsuits and coverups. Tiff and Kara borrowed my expensive drink for their pictures.

I'm not talented in the seductive look department, so I just puckered up to show off my new cruise hat.
See how alike we are? Kara and Tiffany both bought the exact same shirt for our cruise! And I own the same shirt in an aqua color. We must be sisters!
On the last day of our cruise, my parents happened to be staying at a condo in San Diego for the week. They were able to pick us up from the ship and spend the day with us before taking us to the airport. We ate some delicious mexican food in Old Town San Diego, and did a little shopping. I think my parents were a little shocked to see how giggly and sarcastic we were being, since they usually only see us with our kids these days! My Mom said it was like a flashback to our teenage years!

I can't explain what a wonderful time I had hanging out with my sisters, who are my best friends. I miss them so much, since we all live far away from each other. But at least we get together every year for a girls-only trip!

I guess that's the one thing I miss out on with no sisters...it looks like a blast!

I've been waiting for this post. It seriously sounds like such a fun vacation. You are lucky to be so close to both of your sisters. I'm really only close to Jaime. I would love to go on a trip like this some day though. I love just getting silly and feeling like a kid again.

If I remember correctly, you weren't just "dang" hot, or even "smokin'" hot. The correct word was... oh damn, I shouldn't say it online. ha ha ha

How fun is that! I am so absolutely completely 100% jealous. For the vacation without kids, the actual cruise, spending so much time with your sisters, the break........ What a fun tradition to get together like that. I'm glad you had a great trip!

How fun! I am so jealous! I think that's great. We do a sister and mom (girls trip) to Vegas every year - but a cruise sounds like WAY more fun. :) Glad you had a good trip and that you're home safe.
